This 5-day/40hr course of instruction is designed to provide military and law enforcement tactical teams with a capability to conduct slow and deliberate clearance while integrating night vision goggles and infrared lasers. The tactics, techniques and procedures taught during this program have been developed to integrate seamlessly with our dynamic CQB SOP's allowing teams to either combine both deliberate and dynamic procedures during their target prosecutions or use them separately based on mission requirements. 

This training course provides students with advanced tactics, techniques and procedures to enter and clear a structure using slow and deliberate methods to maintain the element of surprise, prevent unnecessary compromise and mitigate undue risk to the assault force. Students will be taught how to use deliberate clearance to safely reduce the size of a large structure and use stealth to maximize personnel and coverage of the target. 

This course will cover individual and team actions at the door as two and four-man elements that will include stacking and communication, door types and operation, single and dual side panning procedures, threat identification, de-escalation procedures, tactical room call outs, dynamic entry procedures, movement through the fatal funnel and movement to points of penetration, the room clearance sequence and priority of threat. Training will include non-verbal communication methods, various clearance options for clearing corner and center fed rooms as well as modified procedures for dynamic room entry. 

Students will receive advanced training that will cover the appropriate use of diversionary devices and conducting blacked out deliberate clearance procedures after chemical agents have been introduced into the stronghold. Students will conduct deliberate clearances while wearing the issued air purifying respirator or gas mask while using night vision goggles and infrared aiming lasers. Students will perform deliberate clearance procedures in various lighting conditions including artifical light, dirty light and blacked out conditions. 

Training will include an intensive block of instruction on hallway barricaded flow procedures to safely negotiate the canalized terrain of hallways, intersections and stairwells. Students will learn how move tactically in a hallway, conduct moving through procedures, perform deconfliction procedures to minimize the potential for blue on blue or fratricide. Students will learn how to conduct full team level primary and secondary clearances and post assault procedures during single point, multi point and multi level deliberate action assault training. 

Our CQB programs can be conducted at client-specified training facility utilizing our fly away mobile training teams, or held at our law enforcement training facilities located in Norfolk Virginia. Courses can be modified to meet training facility requirements and delivered in either live fire formats or with the use of non-lethal training ammunition.
