Trainees will learn how to correctly use deliberate clearance techniques to conduct threshold evaluations as well as multiple procedures to maximize officer safety during high-risk entries. Trainees will learn how to safely use barricaded movement procedures and communication techniques to move safely and tactically through a structure during high-risk situations. Trainees will participate in reality-based training scenarios that have been developed to reinforce teaching points and allow trainees to validate the tactics with the use of non-lethal training ammunition and force on force training.
